Art Bush Website: http://www.artbushministry.com/ Music & Preaching Ministry Art Bush has been on the road for Jesus for 30 years. For the first 11 years he traveled with a group called "The Jackson Brothers." In that time they recorded five albums. Since going on his own, Art has recorded five solo albums. In addition, he has assisted with other recordings as a background vocalist. Art states, "The communicative tool of music must not be minimized. Music is a valuable tool for the church today. We must not surrender it to those who would destroy rather than build Christian morals and values." Preaching and heralding the Word does not take second place to his music ministry. Art has been speaking to young and old people alike steadily over the years in just about every setting (revivals, youth crusades, conventions, etc.). In earlier years he did high school assembly programs in city parks, college campuses, and just about anywhere the opportunity presented itself. After earning a degree in Mechanical Drafting and Design from a technical school in Pittsburgh, PA., Art attended Eastern Christian College in Bel Air, MD. He further pursued his education and graduated from Great Lakes Bible College in Lansing, MI. Art received the Church Growth Award from the National Church Growth Center in Washington, D. C. for recognition as an outstanding student in the field of evangelism and church growth. He was set apart (ordained) for the ministry by the First Christian Church, Turtle Creek, PA. Art stands for the proclamation of New Testament Christianity. After working in public relations for Eastern Christian College for three and a half years, Art began his work for Operation Evangelize Ministries in 1976. Art has now established his own ministry based in Chesapeake, Ohio where he and his family reside. In addition to his traveling ministry, when off the road, Art works as a studio representative for Landmark Recording Studios, also based in Chesapeake. Art says, "I believe in the work I do. It is my intent, with Gods help and the help of His people, to proceed with this effective course of ministry, pruning and perfecting it for the purpose of the Church of Jesus Christ." His income is supplemented by offerings and monthly support from various churches and individuals. ART
