The Christian Childrens Home of Ohio is a Christian Home supported by the Churches of Christ, Christian Churches, and individuals for the care of children in a Christian atmosphere

Statement of Purpose and Program

Licensed by the State of Ohio Department of Human Services as a Child Care Agency, operating a childrens residential center, group homes, and Therapeutic Foster Care Network.
Treatment team approach includes: social workers/therapists, house parents, foster parents, placing agency.
Therapists and social workers trained and have expertise in: family therapy, group process, individual therapy.
Expertise and extensive training in: abuse issues and alcoholism.
House parents and foster parents trained extensively in: adolescent issues, alcoholism/dependency, victims of abuse.

This home has family-style structure living with full-time live-in married couples as house parents, where the young person is taught skills of getting along with others. Most function within the public school system and attend North Central Local School District.

Children considered for placement are between 8 and 18, have an IQ of 80 or above, and are able to adapt and function in an open residential program.
